How We Met

David
and Tara met on June 2nd, 2000. We met on the internet while we were
both in the same chatroom. David seen Tara talking about another Dave
that was in the chatroom and asked her to exchange pictures. So they
exchanged pictures and David asked Tara if he could call her. We talked
for a while and then David asked Tara out for Friday night. She agreed.

The first
night we went out, David picked Tara up and they went to dinner at
TGIF’s then went dancing at Have a Nice Day Cafe. They then went to
the river and sat and talked for a few hours. Went to breakfast at
Waffle House and then David dropped Tara off at home. David called
her the next day and said he had her license and could he drop it off.
This was the first time Tara met Emily (David’s daughter). The three
of them went out to eat at McDonald’s and then dropped Tara off at
home. That night Tara was going out with about 10 of her friends to
Oscars to go dancing. David had called and we decided he was going
to go also. That night we danced our first slow dance. (Creed - Open
Arms).  After that night we spoke and have seen each other everyday.

How
they got engaged

Tara’s
friend Peggy was thinking about moving back to South America so we
all went to Jillian’s in Kentucky to party. Because we both love Peggy
so much we were really going to change her mind.  David’s plan
was he wanted to ask me to marry him with our friends with us. We were
all on the 80’s floor when the DJ asked Tara to come up to the DJ stand.
Then the DJ asked David to come up. David said “Tara you know how much
I love you right” Tara shakes her head yes. David gets down on 1 knee
and asks me to marry him.  Of course I said yes  We then
dance alone on the dance floor (Boys2Men - On bended Knee)

*Peggy did not move to South America but a few months later moved to Arizona
and we miss her very much and we are very happy she will be in our wedding !
